Welcome to "Keep Your Old Car". This blog is designed to poke fun (with some seriousness) at how foolish people are about their relationship with their cars. Cars have become a necessity for most of us. Our relationships with cars, however, go WAY BEYOND necessity. We are crazy about cars. Our images of ourselves are bolstered by our cars. Most of all, we waste serious amounts of money on these ridiculous contraptions. Let's blow holes in the way our society worships them. Maybe we can do something good for the environment at the same time.
